What is The Cost of Invisalign ?

As with other types of orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign® is heavily dependent on the complexity of a patient's case.  The following is BigSmiles Dental Care in Surrey Canada charges.

1) Initially records (photographs and impressions) are required. The fee for this is $400.

This fee covers two appointments and allows you to see your teeth in 3D on computer virtually moving from start to finish. This allows you to make sure everything is what you expected and this will give you an indication of the time needed to complete treatment. This allows you the opportunity to assess how your teeth could look and if there is anything you are not happy with we will modify the treatment until you are totally satisfied.

At this stage you are under no obligation to continue doing treatment if you do not wish to proceed.

2) The cost of Invisalign varies as follows-:

For minor crowding treated with 10 Invisalign aligners or less, the fee is from $4500 to $5500.
For moderate crowding the fee is from $5500 to $6500.
For complex crowding the fee is from $6500 to $8000.

3) The cost of retainers to ensure your teeth remain straight once treatment is completed is $500.

Invisalign fees also include cosmetic bonding and cosmetic reshaping at no extra charge. This is exclusive to BigSmiles Dental Care.

As an example your teeth may have minor chips, irregularities or your canine teeth may be too pointy. These concerns will also be attended to without costing you an extra cent or having to find another dentist to fix these problems. (An average saving of $1000 to $2000) The exact cost is determined once the computerised treatment plan is worked out and the number of aligners and complexity is fully analysed with the computer before any treatment commences.

WILL DENTAL INSURANCE COVER ANY OF THE COSTS OF MY INVISALIGN TREATMENT ?

Yes, providing you have orthodontic coverage (braces), Invisalign® should be covered to the same extent as conventional braces. Payment plans with a deposit can be arranged or approved applicants can have either 12 to 18 months interest free with no deposit or payment plans that can spread the costs over 2 to 3 years.
